Recently, the UK government has released its new energy strategy, which set out its aims to expand where the UK gets its energy from. However, critics say there are missed opportunities for renewable energy and home insulation. To discuss the details of the strategy and the latest IPCC report on climate change, Sky News ClimateCast podcast recently welcomed as guests Jean-Francois Mercure, C-EENRG Fellow and Associate Professor in Climate Change Policy at the University of Exeter; Sepi Golzari-Munro, Deputy Director of the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit; and Heleen de Coninck, Professor of Socio-Technical Innovation and Climate Change at Eindhoven University of Technology.
