Dr Tong Xu

Dr. Tong Xu is a Fellow at the Centre for Environment, Energy and Natural Resource Governance (C-EENRG) at the University of Cambridge and an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Urban Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). His research focus is energy and climate policy, R&D institutions and management, and waste plastics management. He is a holder of the Postdoctoral Fellowship of China Scholarship Council. He is also an Editor of C-EENRG Working Papers.

Tong has a Doctoral degree in Environmental Economics and Environmental Management from the Institute of Urban Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences. During his doctoral study, he participated in the research on energy and resource consumption of public institutions and the comprehensive evaluation of urban ecological analysis.
