Biography
Dr Davide Luca is an Assistant Professor of Economic Geography at the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge. His research is interdisciplinary, cutting across Geography, Political Economy, and Public Policy. While addressing climate change is one of the key societal challenges of our time, the views towards climate change, as well as the perceptions of the costs and opportunities linked to climate policies are not evenly distributed across people and places. At C-EENRG, Davide is involved in research and teaching related to exploring the contextual effects of place and regional inequality on environmental attitudes. Before joining the University of Cambridge, Davide was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and worked for the European Commission. He holds a PhD in Economic Geography from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he is a Visiting Fellow.
