Funding from Swiss National Science Foundation will support two fellowships at C-EENRG on energy and environmental policy

Martina Kunz and Tibisay Morgandi have been awarded fellowships from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) to pursue their research on environmental and energy law and policy.

Martina is developing a system to chart the relationship between certain design features in environmental treaties and their performance. Tibisay is looking at a body of several hundred bilateral energy agreements that have so far received scant attention from scholars despite their great practical importance for energy governance.

The SNSF funding will support the development of environmental and energy policy research tools at C-EENRG. The grant also strengthens the increased collaboration between C-EENRG and research institutions in Switzerland, including the Centre for International Environmental Studies at The Graduate Institute, Geneva, and the World Trade Institute, Bern.
