Starting from April 2024, CEENRG hosts a recipient of a prestigious Postdoc.Mobility Fellowship from the Swiss National Science Foundation, Dr Malavika Rao. Malavika holds a PhD in Public International Law from the Geneva Graduate Institute, Switzerland. Her PhD research explored the scope of the principle of non-refoulement in international law to address the risk of food deprivation for forced migrants. Her current areas of interest include international migration, climate change and the right to food. Her postdoctoral research project at CEENRG will examine the international legal infrastructure underpinning food flows and distribution.
