Lecture summary: In this lecture, Professor Pierre-Marie Dupuy will be reflecting upon the thesis he expounded in his general course at Hague Academy of International Law delivered in 2000. What do the recent challenges faced by international law mean for the understanding of its formal and substantive unity?

This lecture has been organised jointly by the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law and the Cambridge Centre for Environment, Energy and Natural Resource Governance (C-EENRG).
