As a part of the University of Cambridge’s Cambridge Festival 2022 and Cambridge Zero Series, we are pleased to invite you to a panel conversation on Ethics of Energy, which will take place online on 4 April 2022, 14:00-15:15 (UK time).

With the focus on cutting emissions rapidly and the acceleration for Net Zero, what are the ethical implication for what is billed as the next global revolution? There are ethical and practical issues. What are the financial costs and how would this compare with inaction? What are the ethics of not making investments and changes now? What systems can help the transition? The session will explore some of the differences in timescales of impact and who might pick up the environmental tab. Join us to look at what conversations will shape our future.

Panel:

The event is co-organised by Energy IRC and Cambridge Zero.
