The 10-week summer Program on “The Architecture of Green Energy Systems” is co-convened by Professor Laura Diaz Anadon, Prof. Dennice Gayme from Johns Hopkins University, Prof. Michael Ferris from University of Madison Wisconsin, and Prof. Andrew Philpott from the University of Auckland. The Program is hosted by the IMSI at the University of Chicago on 17 June - 23 August 2024. This is a trans-disciplinary program aimed at understanding the technological, social and economic challenges of transitioning to systems that generate, deliver and consume 100% renewable energy, with a view to creating an effective physical and institutional “architecture” for this transition. Participants in the Program are drawn from engineering, social sciences, economics and the mathematical sciences.
