We've organised a series of events about data visualization, with support from UCCRI and the ESRC Impact Acceleration Account.

VizzWorkshopVisual communication of research is becoming increasingly relevant. Summarising findings in a clear manner is crucial to pass the message to all relevant audiences, from other researchers to policymakers, hence to maximise impact on governance.

With the support of the ESRC Impact Acceleration Account and in collaboration with the University of Cambridge Conservation Research Institute, in Easter term 2016 we are organising a series of events to raise the profile of visual communication among researchers in conservation and environmental governance, and across the university.

The series consists of a seminar with renowned experts from the industry and academia, a workshop, and a visual communication clinic:

  • Visual Communication Clinic,
Friday 27 May, 1-2pm. See the poster.
  • Workshop on Visual Communication of Research and Data with members of Vizzuality,
Friday 10 June, David Attenborough Building, 10am-2.30pm - Apply here - See the poster
