Biography

Sören Lindner is the Executive Director of the new interdisciplinary Environment and Climate Research Hub at the University of Vienna. His research focuses on sustainable food systems for Europe, health impacts of dietary change and consumer-based policies. He works with integrated assessment models that combine various sectoral aspects, such as the European Agricultural sector with emission and health databases.

Sören holds a PhD in Ecological Economics from the University of Cambridge, where he worked at 4CMR under the supervision of Dr. Dabo Guan and Prof. D.J. Crawford-Brown. He has worked previously as a researcher in environmental economics at the European Commission Joint Research Centre and with Dr. Jean-Francois Mercure in the BRIDGE project at CEENRG.
